Certifications and Compliance
Our process controls and quality systems ensure we meet the most rigid standards. This allows us to certify to most specifications and provide the highest quality of products.
Nadcap: Co-operative Plating has earned merit status with Nadcap for both Chemical Processing and our Quality Systems. Achieving Nadcap merit status is one of the ways in which the aerospace industry identifies those who excel at manufacturing quality product through superior special processes. Continuing Nadcap accreditation is an integral part of Co-operative Platings’s commitment to the aerospace industry as well as our overall product quality.
Co-operative Plating is Nadcap accredited for the following finishes:
- Type II Anodizing
- Type III Anodizing (Hardcoat)
- Chromate Conversion
- Electroless Nickel
- Surface Treatment / Passivation
RoHS: The Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive, or RoHS, was adopted in February 2003 by the European Union, and implemented in 2006. RoHS aims to restrict the use of hazardous materials commonly used in electronic and electrical equipment. It is closely linked with the Waste Electronical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE), a legislative initiative that reduces the amount of toxic e-waste, which sets collection, recycling, and recovery targets for electrical goods.
AC7004: As a NADCAP certified organization, we are compliant with AC7004 which is aligned closely with the requirements of AS9100C. As a complying organization, we meet our customers’ quality requirements and strive to improve their satisfaction. Co-operative Plating meets applicable regulations and drives continuous improvement. This quality management standard is the cornerstone of our company.
ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations): We are registered with the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC). We operate in compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations.
